An experience letter for a teacher is usually written either by the head of the department or the school principal. Irrespective of who writes it, the letter should be short, professional, and honest. It should be written on the school letterhead and signed with a school stamp as a proof of its authenticity.
As mentioned earlier, while the prime function of an experience letter is to certify the tenure of an employee at an organization, it also speaks a little about the employee’s responsibilities and conduct. As such, these details should also be mentioned in the letter. There may be some cases where there is nothing exceptional that you can mention about a teacher. In such a case, keep the letter simple and add just a line or two about her/his general attitude and conduct. This should be suitable enough in the experience letter. The performance of his students has remarkably improved since he first started teaching them.
We can safely say that we were extremely satisfied with his teaching abilities. As unhappy as we are with the loss of such an excellent teacher at our school, it also gives us great pleasure to state that Keith will be a valuable asset to any school he joins, and wish him luck in his future endeavors.
As has been said before, it is not necessary to include so many details about the teacher in an experience certificate unless you deem necessary. Of course, a little appreciation will always do any employee good in her/his future endeavors.
