You need to be a citizen of the United States to be eligible for this program and you need to contest as a couple. Additionally you need to submit a colored photograph of the couple, and in the photo you should be wearing all the accessories made of duct tape. The couple who comes first wins a scholarship of US $2,500 for each person and a prize of the same amount to the school as well. The winners are selected based on a number of factors like creative use of accessories, use of colors, the kind of duct tape used, workmanship and originality.
Will to Win Scholarships from Merck
The Will to Win Scholarship program is sponsored by Merck Respiratory Corporation. It is offered to high school seniors who suffer from asthma. Through this program a scholarship of US $5,000 is awarded to students, who besides excelling academically, outperform in various other fields such as, community service, performing arts, visual arts, student government and athletics. To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must possess a GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, besides excelling in one of the areas mentioned above.
Best Buy Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students who plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited college or university or a vocational school in the United States. Through this program, a scholarship of US $1000 is awarded to students in grades 9-12, who besides excelling academically, are involved in volunteer and community service.
Nursing Scholarships for High School Seniors
